The UTSA Roadrunners men’s basketball team represents the University of Texas at San Antonio. The program has a rich history dating back four decades, marked by periods of growth, competitive success, and conference transitions. The Roadrunners spent a significant amount of time in the Southland Conference, building rivalries and securing conference titles.

The next significant shift came in 2012 when the Roadrunners moved to the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). A year later, in 2013, UTSA joined Conference USA (C-USA). These frequent transitions reflected the team’s desire to continuously level up and compete in stronger conferences.

The UTSA Roadrunners have established a legacy of achievement on the court. The program has captured four conference tournament championships throughout its history, solidifying their dominance within their respective conferences. The pinnacle of the team’s achievements has been their four appearances in the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship.
