Brighton rout Arsenal to end Premier League champions' 100% record - ESPN

Premier League champions Arsenal lost their 100% record for the season in dramatic fashion as they were routed 3-0 at Brighton and Hove Albion. First-half strikes from Pascal Gross and Charalampos Kostoulas put the home side in control at the break, before summer signing Chema Andrés added a third from a corner on his full home debut. The Spaniard's header meant that Arsenal — which had been defensively excellent this season — conceded as many goals on Saturday as they had done in the rest of the season combined. After a cagey opening on the south coast, the game sparked into life on the half-hour mark when the in-form Gross found himself with time and space on the edge of the box.

About the news

How the news of ForBets works

Where the stories come from, how your feed is made and how to get an alert, with the terms of the news pages.

How the news feed works

The stories are collected from the news sources of the sports we cover, and each one says where it comes from. For some of them only the opening and a link to the original are shown: the full text is read on the site of the publisher, who owns it.

News has three tabs. Your feed shows the stories of the sports you follow, Discover shows every sport, and Saved holds the stories you kept to read later. You can search by headline or topic, narrow the list to one sport, and mark everything as read.

Yes. In your account, under Sports & alerts, choose the sports you follow and how you want to hear about each one: in the app, by push or by email. The bell in the header collects the new stories of your sports and the new picks of the analysts you follow.

News is for reading and does not recommend bets. For picks, open the list of matches and compare the analysts by their records. The two are kept apart on purpose: a story is a report, and a pick is an opinion that its author answers for.

A story you have not opened yet. It is marked in your feed.
Source
The publisher of a story. For some stories only the opening is shown, and the full text is on the site of the publisher.
