2026 SDHSAA 'AA' girls state tennis, final results

The 2026 SDHSAA state 'AA' girls tennis tournament concluded on Friday, October 9, from Sioux Park in Rapid City. Rapid City Stevens won the state team title at the event.

Indiana Fever general manager Amber Cox said the controversies surrounding Sophie Cunningham will not factor into the team’s evaluation of the guard as free agency approaches.

Once again, the setup remains to be very complex, so it is no surprise that the track remains difficult to pin down with now almost two areas of shift possible. A cutoff low, an upper level trough, and what remains of Rachel all have to interact, with their timing and positioning playing a major role in how this unfolds. Even small changes could shift where the deepest moisture moves, where the lifting mechanism is, where thunderstorms develop, and which areas receive the heaviest rainfall. That is why individual model runs can show noticeably different outcomes. Confidence should improve as these features evolve, but the exact track and rainfall totals still have room to change still.

Learn about an apple variety that is super crisp and firm that I am getting at apple orchards over Honeycrisp this month. It took a long time from when the Crimson Crisp apple was first bred until it was available to be grown commercially. It was first developed in the 1970s by the PRI (Purdue, Rutgers, and Illnois) co-operative. It wasn't until 2006 that the apple was released for growers. That is a long time in the development process. You don't get rich quick by developing a new apple variety!

In her exit interviews, WNBA star Caitlin Clark opened up about her future with the Indiana Fever, stating there were big decisions that had to be made. Clark made clear she plans to remain with the Fever, even as she weighs an early contract extension that could reshape the team’s roster flexibility.
