2028 Finals in Munich and 2029 in Barcelona

Munich’s Allianz Arena will host the 2028 Champions League final and the Nou Camp in Barcelona the final in 2029, Europe’s ruling body UEFA said on Tuesday. The UEFA decision came at an executive committee meeting in the Greek city of Thessaloniki. Munich’s arena, home of six-time European champions Bayern Munich, stages the big match for a third time, the first finals being in 2012 and 2025.The now renovated Nou Camp, where five-time European champions Barcelona play, has also hosted the final twice before, in 1989 and 1999. The next final in 2027 is in Madrid’s Metropolitano arena. (DPA)
