A Film Review of “No One Died: The Wing Bowl Story”

I wrote on Wednesday about the Wing Bowl documentary making it to streamers after premiering at the Calgary Underground Film Fest, and I must admit, I was convinced by my own blog that I had to watch this film. So that’s what I did last night and this morning.
In short, this documentary is excellent. I really, truly enjoyed it. I think it’s a worthwhile watch for any Philadelphian, or really anyone who enjoys good stories with compelling characters and footage of vomit in slow motion.
Without spoiling anything, I’ll rattle off some generic observations:
Takeaway: Such a fun watch. Whether you’re like me and are a little too young to have understood/grasped what Wing Bowl was in its heyday, or if you remember it all well and want to revisit it, or if you just like good stories with good characters, I recommend watching it. 9.2 out of 10 wings.
