AEW gets new TV deal in Middle East & North Africa region

While the Middle East is associated mainly with WWE when it comes to pro wrestling, AEW is looking to establish their own presence there with news of a new TV deal in the region.
Announced on Thursday, Dynamite. Collision and PPVs (termed “major live premium events”) will air for those in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA region) on TOD by beIN.
It’s unknown when the deal officially starts, but it will be in place by this month’s All Out as was mentioned in the release. It also wasn’t stated whether the broadcast will feature native commentary or will be only available in English.
No terms of the deal were disclosed.
Launched nearly five years ago, TOD “is a subscription-based OTT platform by the beIN Media Group that delivers exclusive access to unrivaled live and recorded sports streaming in 4K, in multiple languages along with premium entertainment content. A family-friendly and personalized platform.”
Other sports on the platform includes the NBA, various soccer/European football leagues, ONE MMA, Wimbledon, and more.
