The balloon was decorated with stick figure drawings of the family and the messages, “I love you, family” and “Baby Battle” with a love heart.
“A tiny life, a love that will last forever. There are some moments that change you forever,” Casey captioned the post.
“A little life that left the biggest imprint on our hearts. Until we meet again, our beautiful baby.”

The Instagram slideshow also included photos of Casey’s baby bump as well as an ultrasound.
There was an outpouring of support in the comment section for the couple from Josh’s Hawthorn teammates and the wider AFL community.
“Sending all my love and strength,” Tayla Broad, wife of retiring Richmond player Nathan Broad.
“Sending you so so much love,” Chloe Pink, wife of North Melbourne player Toby Pink.
Josh and Casey married in February 2025 accompanied by their two daughters; Billie walked down the aisle pulling then-baby Bobbi in a cart, both were wearing white dresses.
The big day was an engagement party turned surprise wedding. Casey explained the reasoning behind the surprise wedding during a Q&A on her Instagram stories.
“We love a good surprise… we were originally going to go overseas to get married!” she wrote in the caption.
“But the more we planned our engagement party, the more it made sense to do it all at the same time. We had everyone we loved in the same venue. So we thought why not!
“I also wanted my Nan at our wedding and she wouldn’t have been able to travel overseas so this was another reason.”
