Mikel Arteta faces another week of waiting before Arsenal host Leeds in the Premier League. The prolonged international break rolls on with 16 players away on national team duty. Five Arsenal stars were originally selected for Thomas Tuchel's England squad before Declan Rice pulled out to focus on recuperating from a packed schedule of fixtures. Arteta will be concerned about the fitness of Martin Odegaard, Ezri Konsa and Kai Havertz, with the latter substituted during the match against the Netherlands due to a hamstring problem. The club are understood to be hopeful there are no serious long-term injury worries surrounding the German. Here, Express Sport brings you the latest stories emerging from the Emirates Stadium.

Erling Haaland has been tentatively linked with a potential switch to Arsenal should Manchester City face expulsion from the Premier League. TEAMtalk claim that the Gunners would evaluate the circumstances should the Norwegian striker become obtainable.
Nevertheless, the same outlet reports that the player has not considered leaving the Etihad and remains fully committed to City.
Haaland's Norway team-mate, Kristoffer Ajer, also insists the prolific forward has remained unaffected by the ruling and is not contemplating a move away.
The Brentford defender said: "He's been exactly the way he's always the same with the national team. He's truly focused on the upcoming games. I think he's trying to do the same as everyone else, wait and see what the outcome is...that's clearly been his way of doing it."
When questioned about any shift in Haaland's behaviour, Ajer responded: "No not at all. Ever since I met him brings lot of energy and joy to the group. The biggest compliment I always give is that he hasn't changed a bit from the moment I met him even though he's the biggest star on the planet right now.
"He's been exactly the same the last few days as well which is not a surprise for me."

Arsenal have reportedly joined Chelsea and City in tracking Vasco da Gama prospect Breno Sales. The 16-year-old has garnered interest from across Europe, with a recent offer of nearly £9million turned down, according to Brazilian media.
He started his career as a forward before converting to left-back and subsequently transitioning into a more central role. This season, Sales has featured 17 times and found the net once.
He secured victory in the Under-17 Copa do Brazil last year and has established himself as a consistent presence in Brazil's youth international setup. The youngster is expected to feature in the U17 World Cup in Qatar next month.
