Nottingham Forest might be striving for a winning formula under Oliver Glasner, but it would appear as though the squad has a number of players being courted by other clubs.

Murillo is wanted by Manchester United, and it does appear as though Forest could find themselves fielding some enquiries when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Reds will try to do some business themselves too in the window. Forest like Petar Sucic, and it does feel as though a midfielder will be high on the list of priorities during the window.

The main priority could be trying to keep hold of the club’s current crop of stars, however, with a European juggernaut now keen on a star man.

The Brazilian defender has been a revelation for Forest this season. Cunha played well for Brazil in Australia, and there will be plenty more caps to come for the youngster as his career progresses.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Cunha is now in demand, and Barcelona have made early scouting checks on the player signed by Forest from Botafogo in the summer of 2025.

Glasner has been impressed with Cunha this season. Clearly he impressed in pre-season, as he’s started the season in the team and is playing very well.

It’s likely that Cunha will keep his place in the team this weekend for the trip to Crystal Palace. He should be in high spirits after going away with the Brazil national team, and that bodes well for Forest.

Barcelona might find it tricky to sign Cunha in January. However, if a big-money bid is made in the summer, who knows whether or not Forest might decide to accept the advance from the Catalan giants?

The 21-year-old looks set for a very bright future in the game. With Barcelona now keen, Forest may look to do what they did with Murillo and get him tied to a new contract to reflect his true value ahead of next summer.
