Bass Pro Shops Night Race results from Bristol Motor Speedway

By Speedway Digest Staff,
Joey Logano surged to the lead with seven laps remaining and held off Kyle Larson to win Saturday night's Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, earning his third NASCAR Cup Series victory of the season and the 40th of his career.
Driving the No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford, Logano led 93 laps, including the final seven circuits of the 500-lap short-track showdown. Larson, who led 45 laps, finished second, 1.248 seconds behind the Team Penske driver at the checkered flag. Carson Hocevar completed the podium in third after leading 39 laps.
The race featured 13 caution flags and 13 lead changes among six drivers as the lead changed hands repeatedly throughout the night. Ryan Blaney, who led a race-high 202 laps, saw his hopes for victory end after an accident with Hocevar on Lap 457, opening the door for a late-race scramble among the frontrunners.
For Logano, the victory was his third of 2026 and his third Cup Series win at Bristol. Larson's runner-up finish marked his 15th top-10 result in 21 Bristol starts and his 16th top-10 finish of the season.
Despite finishing second, Larson retained the NASCAR Cup Series points lead by a single point over Denny Hamlin heading into next weekend's race at Kansas Speedway
