BKFC President shares classy reaction to being snubbed by Michael Venom Page: ‘Good for him’

Dave Feldman has made no secret of his desire to bring Michael ‘Venom’ Page back to bare-knuckle boxing.
The BKFC President expressed an interest in re-signing ‘MVP’ immediately after his release from the UFC was reported in September.
Michael Page suffered a debated decision defeat when he fought Mike Perry in BKFC four years ago
It was hoped that the 39-year-old would return to the promotion for a mega-fight with Darren Till.
MVP has signed with Misfits Boxing, despite having received offers from several different promotions.
Michael Page announced he’d joined Misfits during a cringe-inducing promo with KSI on Saturday night.
Dave Feldman believes money was what convinced the MMA veteran to snub a return to BKFC.
The 56-year-old had nothing but nice things to say when asked about Page during a recent interview with Bloody Elbow’s Jamie Theodosi.
“I mean, he was looking for the best money, and apparently, they offered him really, really good money,| Feldman said about Page.
“Good for him. When you go in there and fight, and you are a company man, he did what he had to do for the UFC, he did great for Bellator, you deserve to get paid.
“If they are gonna pay him, then hats off to Misfits and hats off to ‘MVP’ for getting that money. That’s great for him. They put a really good offer on the table, and they probably gave him some fun, exciting opponents that he’s not going to get hit with the bare knuckle for, and he’s gonna make that kind of money.
“Again, kudos to him. I wish him the best of luck. He’s always been really good to us, and I hope he does good.”
Michael Page opened up about the financial side of his Misfits contract during a recent interview.
“Misfits, they came with a crazy deal, an absolutely crazy deal, which means I’ve continued to grow and get better financially,” he said while explaining his decision to sign with the promotion.
“Also, KSI is my boy, and I’ve worked alongside the Misfits guys before with some of my teammates who have fought, in corners, my coaches have worked with them as well.
“So yeah, their vision for the future as well, what they are trying to do. They’re looking to get an MMA show, and me kind of lead the way and be the face of that. It’s a lot of exciting stuff as well as a better payday.
“I left the UFC, and I’m making more money. Like two times more, and in a short period. It’s a three-fight deal, and in this three-fight deal, I’ll make more than I made for my whole UFC contract.”
