Molly "Meatball" McCann has proposed to her long-term partner, Fran Parman. The MMA fighter posted a collection of lovely snaps on Instagram capturing the couple in an embrace, with Fran showing off a spectacular diamond ring on her perfectly manicured finger.
Fran went public with her relationship with Molly in 2024, sharing various images from the early stages of their romance. The footage included moments of the duo dancing, dining out and treasuring time together.
Since going public, the pair have regularly updated their followers on their relationship journey, from celebrations at the ring to touching tributes on meaningful dates and milestones.
This weekend, Molly maintained her perfect fighting record with an impressive win on cousin Katie Taylor's undercard in Dublin, while long-time mate Paddy Pimblett looked on from ringside. After her triumph, she revealed she had "saved the best for last".
The couple subsequently travelled to Bray Head Cross in Wicklow, Ireland, seemingly the location where McCann got down on one knee, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Among a series of pictures posted online, including one of McCann re-enacting the proposal while kneeling, the pair beamed as they flaunted Fran's enormous engagement ring while marking this new milestone.
The caption read: "Saved the best till last, a weekend I knew the only way I could top it would be asking you to marry me.
"The easiest decision I've ever made. I promise to love you and protect you forever, here's to the best weekend of my life. In a place I know means so much to us. Bray we love you."
Well-known faces from across Merseyside flooded the comments section to congratulate the newly engaged pair. Everton FC wrote: "Congratulations Molly and Fran!".
Social media personality and presenter Still Ryan gushed: "So so so happy for you both."
TNT Sports UFC added: "Congratulations."
