Brian Schottenheimer responds to Mike Tomlin’s shot about Cowboys issue

The Dallas Cowboys reportedly held a players-only meeting, which isn't always a good sign.
I believe it's not the worst thing in the world for guys to hold each other accountable, but other players, coaches, and higher-ups in NFL organizations have said in the past that it isn't always a good sign this early.
In a way, it's somewhat tough to argue that talking after five weeks of the season typically isn't the best thing.
If that's the case, there's either a ton of pressure in the building, or guys simply understand that they're just not doing the job.
For whatever the reason might be, that's what the Cowboys decided to do, and it was recently met with some criticism from former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.
“I think you're dead,” Tomlin said. “If it did occur, I'd like to not hear about it. The fact that you hear about it is what makes it B.S.”
Things will always get out in Dallas for a storied organization, so I have to disagree with Tomlin on that. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer recently responded to Tomlin's comments, adding that he loves it and believes a locker room should be led by guys who are willing to have tough conversations like this.
“I love it,” Schottenheimer said, via ESPN. “I've said from the very beginning, the best teams I've ever been around are led by the locker room. And my information that I received from some of those guys that called that meeting, it was very productive. It was very open and honest.”
