The 2027 WNBA Draft already has a couple of rather unusual prospects, with former Boston Celtics star Enes Kanter Freedom already declaring for the 2027 WNBA Draft and fellow former NBA player Royce White doing the same. However, their draft declarations may not be the most unexpected ones after all, as it appears the WNBA may be getting an even more unlikely hypothetical prospect come the 2027 Draft.

Speaking on Tuesday’s episode of the Planet Tyrus podcast, Caitlyn Jenner revealed that she spoke to Kanter Freedom and even floated the idea of declaring herself. “Enes and I have talked on the phone quite a few times,” Jenner said. “I told him, ‘Enes, I’m a real trans person. Maybe I should sign up for the ’27 WNBA Draft.’”
