Conor McGregor tells Katie Taylor to make retirement U-turn after farewell fight at his dream venue

Katie Taylor’s legendary boxing career came to an end on Saturday night.
The 40-year-old retired as the undisputed super lightweight champion following a lopsided unanimous decision win over Flora Pili.
83,000 fans packed into Dublin’s Croke Park to watch Katie Taylor‘s farewell fight in person.
'Notorious' took MMA to the next level at the height of his legendary career.
Conor McGregor began talking about headlining an event at Croke Park soon after joining the UFC.
13 years later, ‘Notorious’ watched from home as Katie Taylor brought boxing to his dream fight venue.
McGregor shared his thoughts on what he witnessed on social media following the iconic event.
The former dual-weight UFC champion added hashtags, imploring his compatriot to make a retirement U-turn.
“Fantastic scenes in Croke Park, Ireland, for Katie Taylor’s most recent fight,” McGregor tweeted.
“She looked better than ever! Younger, fresher, renewed like the eagles! ALL HAIL KING JESUS!

Conor McGregor has faced retirement calls since his first fight in five years ended in disaster.
The 38-year-old suffered a catastrophic knee injury and got TKO’d in 69 seconds when he fought Max Holloway at UFC 329 in July.
McGregor plans to return to the Octagon for the final fight on his UFC contract once he is fully healed.
After that, ‘Mystic Mac’ plans to continue fighting for as long as he possibly can.
“I’m never bowing out. I’m not bowing out,” McGregor told Mike Tyson earlier this year.
“We’re going to the end. We will fight until the end when we meet God, who is our creator.”
