The ladies took on a strong Ballarat lineup on Monday morning at the Buninyong Golf Club before having a bye in the afternoon. Ballarat was victorious 5.5-1.5, with Christine Fisher, Robyn Walker, and Lucy Haussegger all halving their contests. They are scheduled to play two rounds on Tuesday at the Midlands Golf Club.

An afternoon match against Dalhousie saw the team fall just short 3-4, remaining in contention until the final hole of the last match. Winners for East Gippsland were Walkenhorst (3 and 2), Rimington (4 and 3), and Danny Bullen (2 and 1).

On Tuesday, the men will play Wimmera at Buninyong, where the winner will advance to meet Dalhousie in Wednesday’s final.
