— Bryan and I will be back talking about all of the news from today, and there is a ton, with Wrestling Observer Radio. If you have any questions regarding news from today you can send to [email protected]

— In what could be major news regarding 2027 for pro wrestling, and MMA, Luis Silberwasser sent a memo to employees at TNT Sports saying he is leaving the company. TNT Sports will now be headed by David Benson, for Skydance. Benson was on the Paramount executive team that brought UFC and Zuffa Boxing to Paramount +. Silberwasser was the one who signed the DAZN Boxing deal a few months ago. Silberwasser, while not the driving force, was listed in some media articles in conjunction with AEW’s media rights deal that was signed two years ago. Mark Shapiro has publicly talked about wanting UFC & Zuffa Boxing on TNT on Saturday nights, which is the Collision time slot. So watching what happens to TNT Boxing will be very interesting. For AEW, the main thing is if this relates to them will be if David Ellison puts AEW under the TNT Sports umbrella. It had been listed for years under the entertainment umbrella. There are still so many moving parts here. Although my front page article did note that certain changes at WBD are very beneficial to AEW, but there are still no guarantees in either direction.

— So in today’s Eddie Hearn/Dana White drama, Frank Warren, who is Tyson Fury’s promoter, claimed it was Dana White and Nick Khan who negotiated the Netflix deal for the fight, so thus they are involved. Eddie Hearn said that there is a meeting on Wednesday (the one White said he wasn ‘t going to) and that White and TKO can’t be involved contractually unless he lets them. From today’s statement it appeared he was willing to do so for the right money. We all know the end result here, that TKO and White will try and crush Hearn for all this because he’s essentially mocked them at every turn, but he’s also gotten his way based on the contract and that they can’t get Anthony Joshua to break from him no matter how much pressure they put on. Warren said that he negotiated the venue, White & Khan negotiated the TV deal and that Hearn has done nothing.

— Roman Reigns returns tonight on Raw to set up the LA Knight match and perhaps an involvement in the 946 feud. The show is from St. Louis and there were 8,366 tickets out. Key matches are Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan with the winner facing Stephanie Vaquer at Mney in the Bank for the women’s titgel, Bron Breakker & Austin Theory in a non-title match with Je’Von Evans & Penta, Sol Ruca & Lola Vice vs. Raquel Rodriguez & Roxannd Perez and Rey Fenix vs. Ethan Page in a non-title match.

— Raw goes against the Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Division series on TBS . Football has New Orleans vs. Atlanta, both 1-2 teams on ESPN and ESPN 2.

— WWE is putting tickets for all its shows on sale for 30 percent off between now and 10/12 with the code CASHIN.

— AEW added Jon Moxley & Gabe Kidd vs. Mark Davis & Jake Doyle to the show in Paris tomorrow night.

— Mike Bailey said that he listened to Me Muero for two straight weeks before going to Mexico on Friday to get it down.

— Olympia won the first night of the Women’s Universal tite tournament on Friday in a match that went more than 32:00, Saturday afternoon had a bodybuilding contest, and then wrestled on Saturday night in a tag and on Sunday in a singles match with Tessa Blanchard.

— I was told last night’s Arena Mexico main event with Mascara Dorada & Neon vs. Averno & Villano III Jr. was great.

— Arena Puebla tonight has a parejas increibles with Neon & Euforia vs. Averno & Esfinge, plus Templario & Xelhua & Star Black vs. Yutani & Rugido & Valiente.

This was not a sellout as of last word.

— Tomorrow at Arena Mexico has Dorada & Neon & Templario & Titan vs. Zandokan Jr. & Barboza & Difunto & Furia Roja on top, plus Blanchard & Garra Negra & India Sioux vs. .Keyra & Persephone & Saney, and Esfinge vs. Gran Guerrero,.

— Hechicero works tomorrow’s New Japan show at Korakuen Hall.

— At Saturday’s AAA TV show, Omos & Dominik Mysterio beat Grande Americano & Rey Mysterio with Dominik using a belt shot. So Dominik will get a rematch at Grande’s Mega title on 10/24. If Omos & Dominik lost, Dominik could never get a title shot as long as Grande was champion.

— Pro Wrestling Revolucion on 10/10 in San Jose, CA at Mount Pleasant High School, has the PWR title at stake with Mistico defending against Averno, their open weight title up in a four-way with Villano III Jr., Misterioso, Anubis and El Cucuy, Black Tiger vs. Viento, Princesa Sugeith vs. Karisma and a match for the vacant tag team titles with Los Espantapajros vs. Los Condenados vs. Los Ultramanes. Online tickets sold out last week but there are tickets stil avilable at some lola ticket outlets.
