Dana White confirms Michael ‘Venom’ Page has left UFC despite winning streak

Dana White has told the media that the UFC isn’t going to be re-signing Michael ‘Venom’ Page after his contract came to an end over the weekend.
Page has won five of his six UFC fights since making the move from Bellator in 2024. His sole defeat was a razor-close decision to eventual world title contender Ian Machado Garry, which many felt he should have won.
'MVP' was not offered a new contract despite winning 5 of his 6 UFC fights.
Unfortunately for the Brit, his fighting style has left opponents shying away from engaging in striking exchanges. This has meant that while he racked up victories, he was unable to finish a single fight and was often criticized for being boring.
Tonight at Dana White’s Contender Series, the UFC boss addressed a larger than usual media pool at the Meta Apex. Reporters are in town to cover Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn’s super-fight in Las Vegas, and the show was the first stop of fight week for them.
White was asked about confusion stemming from an email sent to media voters on the UFC rankings that told them not to include Michael Page in their decisions this week. He confusingly ended up in the AI Meta rankings, but the CEO confirmed he is gone.
“That was the last fight on his contract,” White replied when asked. “I don’t think we’re signing him, no.” He asked what might have confused media or fans, adding that “I think it’s been pretty clear that he wasn’t being re-signed and that he would be taken out of the ranking because he’s not on the roster.”
