The former England international rugby union forward, Danny Cipriani, 38, and American actress Anna‑Lynn McCord, 39, were seen exiting a Los Angeles gym on Friday, demonstrating that their post‑wedding life is gradually transitioning back to everyday habits that include regular exercise.

According to several media outlets, the couple left the gym in high spirits, laughing and chatting openly as they walked down the sidewalk, with McCord sporting a striking black sports bra and matching leggings that accentuated her fitness figure, while Cipriani chose a casual look featuring a white T‑shirt and charcoal joggers. This public outing comes just a few weeks after the couple drew significant criticism over the manner in which they financed their wedding ceremony.

The couple had chosen to use the Honeyfund platform to raise money for various wedding costs. In a statement posted on their website, the newlyweds explained that they had set a fundraising range from £75 (approximately $100) up to £450 (about $600) to cover a number of key services, ranging from music, floristry, a cake and a wedding certificate to the big ceremonial contributions such as $1,500 for photography or $4,800 for the construction of the venue.

In total the fundraising goal was set at £10,660, a figure that many observers found outlandishly high for a "low‑key" party that was later revealed to have had many empty seats and guests who, according to reports, had been asked to pay for their own attendance. McCord has spoken publicly about the backlash and the gossip that followed the wedding.

In an interview with The Sun, she admitted that the couple had unintentionally exposed the crowdfunding page as a public link, leading to a flood of insulting comments.

"I was told I was despicable and that I was trying to extort money from my wedding guests," she said. She went on to mention that some donors had written cruel comments on the site after contributing a $10 donation. Reports even allege that some threats were written by people upset that they had to contribute to what they saw as a shameless exploitation of a friendship with the couple.

Both Cipriani and McCord have however declined to publicly accuse anyone of malicious intent, focusing instead on their attempt to keep the wedding as straightforward as possible. The newly married couple have said they are planning to host additional celebrations, one in London and another in Cambodia, with a "traditional celebration" in the latter country where the duo's families are located. Their intention is to make the celebrations more intimate and controlled, with fewer outside guests.

As a reminder, both have amassed sizeable fortunes that they referred to when discussing what gifts they wanted. Cipriani's 16-year professional career saw him earn an estimated £4 million and he played for clubs like Wasps, Sale Sharks, Gloucester, Bath and Melbourne Rebels.

Meanwhile McCord's journey to Hollywood began with television series like Nip/Tuck and 90210. Her most recent acting work includes a 2023 role on Days of Our Lives. Although the couple formed a relationship and later split on two occasions, they made a return to show business at the Emmys in 2024, returning to the spotlight when they shared a kiss on the red carpet.

However the living romance of the pair remains largely speculation. Both have a history of commitment but an uncertain future remains and trending conversations alike.
