Darren Till says he’s ‘really open’ to fighting Michael Venom Page following his shock UFC release

Darren Till is open to making a British super-fight happen in bare-knuckle boxing.

The former UFC title challenger is gearing up to face Yoel Romero at BKFC 94 on Saturday night.

At the same time, Darren Till has got one eye on what may come after his fight with the 49-year-old Cuban fan favorite.

Till signed a three-fight deal in April.

Michael ‘Venom’ Page was recently released from the UFC at the end of his contract.

The former Bellator contender was cut despite winning five of his six fights inside the Octagon.

‘MVP’ fought Mike Perry under the BFKC banner in August 2022.‘ The Englishman lost a debated decision before returning to MMA and signing a six-fight deal with the UFC.

Now, Page is being linked with a return to the number one bare-knuckle boxing promotion on the planet.

During an interview on Wednesday, Till told Bloody Elbow’s Jamie Theodosi he would be interested in taking off the gloves for a fight with Page.

“Yeah, definitely,” Till said when asked if he would like to fight Page.

“I know Michael, he’s a very good fighter who was just let go by the UFC.

“If he was to re-sign and schedule that fight, yeah, me and him would get it on.

“We just have to see where he wants to go. I know he does a little bit of film and stuff like that, who knows if he’ll even fight again. Sometimes you can be a bit disheartened, especially for him now.

“But yeah, it’s something I’d be really open to. I think he’s a good fighter as well.”

Dave Feldman recently expressed his interest in bringing Michael Page back to bare-knuckle boxing.

The BKFC president talked up a potential super-fight between MVP and Darren Till earlier this month.

“We would be interested, yes,” Feldman told Bloody Elbow.

“Can you imagine a year down the road or so, you’ve got Darren Till vs. ‘MVP’ in the UK?

“That would be a tremendous fight.”
