Draymond Green claims Tyler Herro did ‘the corniest thing ever’ at Milwaukee Bucks media day

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has called out Tyler Herro following the Milwaukee Bucks’ media day. Herro was recently introduced as a Bucks player after his offseason move to Milwaukee.

Herro was traded to the Bucks alongside Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel’el Ware, Kasparas Jakucionis and multiple first-round picks in the Miami Heat’s trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo. While most NBA players would rather not play in a small market like Milwaukee, Herro was actually born and raised there.

The shooting guard has already made headlines for recreating T.J. Ford’s famous photoshoot from more than 20 years ago. However, Green was not impressed by the media stunt and slammed Herro on his podcast.

Tyler Herro recreated T.J. Ford’s iconic rookie photoshoot at the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2026 media day. Ford was given a massively oversized uniform at his first media day, and the photoshoot has since become a memorable moment.

23 years later, Herro recreated the photoshoot alongside Ford, who is now an assistant coach with the Bucks. While many fans saw the funny side, Draymond Green ridiculed the photoshoot online.

“Tyler Herro recreated TJ Ford’s iconic 2003 photoshoot with TJ, who’s an assistant coach now, and I must say, I thought this was the corniest thing ever,” he said on The Draymond Green Show.

Draymond on Tyler Herro recreating TJ Ford’s rookie photo shoot:

“I thought this was the corniest thing ever. I’m just going to leave it at that because I ain’t really trying to sh*t on nobody, but I thought it was super corny.”

From the source (via @DraymondShow, h/t @TheNBABase)

“I’m just going to leave it at that because I ain’t really trying to s— on nobody, but I thought it was super corny. I’m going to leave it at that.”

Green chose not to expand on his brutal comments. The general reaction on social media was that Green was being overly harsh about a fun exercise that was not intended to offend anyone.
