The Egyptian Premier League table paints the perfect picture of Pyramids' dominance since the campaign kicked off, with the New Cairo outfit sitting at the summit.
Their run of seven straight victories gives them 21 points, with a game in hand over second-placed Zamalek, who trail by two points. Al Ahly are in third with 17 points and also have a game in hand over the White Knights.
The Red Devils will be hoping to keep the pressure on those above them, particularly a rampant Pyramids side who show no sign of letting up.
With the two sides scheduled to meet on November 23, former Al Ahly player Mohamed Abdel-Galil highlighted the magnitude of the threat posed by Mokwena's side.
"I am not worried about Al Ahly against Zamalek, as Al Ahly is capable of beating them again, but I am worried about Al Ahly against Pyramids," he told Egyptian television, per Egypt Telegraph.

With Zamalek having been drawn into Group B alongside Young Africans SC, MC Alger and Club Africain in the CAF Champions League, Abdel-Galil warned that the White Knights face a daunting task on the continental front.
"Zamalek's group in the Champions League is difficult, and if they get second place it is as if they have won the championship, and if they succeed in qualifying it will be a very good thing," he added.
