Ex-PFL star lands a brutal walk-off KO with one punch to become a welterweight MMA champion

The UFC could have their eye on ‘The Postman’ after his latest win.
All eyes are on MMA’s leading promotion Saturday, as the UFC 332 event takes place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
But the weekend kicked off with action elsewhere on the regional scene, and that included the latest Fury FC card at the Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.
The lineup was headlined by a familiar face who landed a devastating knockout to win gold for the second time in his professional career.

The Fury FC 125 main event featured the return of Dilano Taylor, best known for his stint in the Professional Fighters League.
‘The Postman’ fought seven times under the PFL banner, a run that included one tournament final in 2022. Taylor knocked out UFC legend Rory MacDonald at the semifinal stage that year before falling short of the $1 million prize against Sadibou Sy.
To first secure his opportunity on the PFL Challenger Series four years ago, Taylor became champion under the Titan FC banner.
He may have now earned another chance to impress in a major organization after adding a new belt to his collection.
Taylor knocked out Nick Meck on Friday night to become the new Fury FC welterweight king. The finish came in round two, when ‘The Postman’ put his opponent out cold with one brutal left hook.
There was no need for Taylor to follow up on the ground, and he walked off for a low-key celebration after the referee immediately waved the main event title fight off.
Some have already tipped Taylor for a move to the Octagon on social media after the clip of his title-winning knockout was posted by the UFC Fight Pass account.
If he did get the opportunity to fight on MMA’s biggest stage, ‘The Postman’ will be looking for more success than he achieved in the PFL.
Taylor went 3-4 across his seven fights inside the SmartCage. Since leaving, he has won five fights in a row after Friday’s triumph.
