Fans confused as UFC advertise surprise UK event that clashes with Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua

An unexpected addition to the UFC’s official event list has puzzled MMA fans.
Dana White‘s fight league hasn’t visited Britain since they promoted UFC London in March.
Movsar Eveloev outpointed Lerone Murphy in the main event of a dreadfully dull event at the O2 Arena.
UFC.com shows a Fight Night is planned for the Principality Stadium on December 11
MMA’s premier promotion is not expected to return to the UK for a second show in 2026.
However, some fans think the UFC bosses have changed their plans after spotting something on the company’s official website.
The event section of UFC.com shows a Fight Night card is in the works for December 11.
A TBD vs. TBD main event is advertised as taking place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are already scheduled to box on the same date, at the same venue.
Dana White insists he’ll be involved as a promoter and producer of Netflix’s latest fight card.
Does that mean we’ll get UFC fights on the undercard of the biggest boxing bout of 2026?
UFC coming to UK? Has this slipped past everyone or just me? https://t.co/L0c77edFJz
MMA fans online believe the UFC advertising an upcoming UK event is their way of staking a claim to Fury vs Joshua.
“UFC coming to UK? Has this slipped past everyone or just me?,” one person asked.
“UFC Cardiff would be unreal, but sadly it’s for the boxing,” another added.
“It’s Fury vs AJ exact same date and venue. Dunno why it’s on the UFC website tho ahaham,” someone else said.
“Think it’s Tyson v AJ. Casue it’s the same date and stadium. I think it’s. Glitch tho,” a fourth X user wrote.
“Dana is doing everything he can to be a part of the event,” another person insisted.
“Wow, Dana really forcing himself to be involved in that fight,” a sixth fan said.
