Fans demand refunds after Chrisean Rock’s opponent quits three minutes into farcical pro boxing debut

Chrisean Malone fans want their money back after paying to watch less than three minutes of a main event last night.

Hundreds packed into the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore to watch ‘Holy Hands’ – who is best known by her nickname Chrisean Rock. She faced Ku’Shiyah Williams in the headliner of a show that ended up running almost six-and-a-half hours packed with knockouts and exciting moments.

Chrisean 'Holy Hands' Malone has taken to boxing at the age of 26 – can she become a champion?

There was an intense build-up to the event including a promotional face-off where Malone punched her opponent in the face. However, the fight itself was relatively tame as the fan favorite showed off her skills before Williams decided to give up halfway through the second round.

If fans weren’t able to make it to Baltimore to watch Chrisean Rock fight live, they had to fork out $30 to BLK Prime in order to catch it on pay-per-view. No bout order was ever released publicly and after starting at 6pm Eastern, Rock didn’t end up in the ring until long after midnight.

When the fight started, it became almost instantly clear that Williams was way out of her depth as she struggled to throw a punch, much less land one. She contemplated not getting off her stool after the first, but opted to give it one last try.

Rock appeared to be struggling with her gas tank after just a round-and-a-half, but Williams’ issues were worse and despite not being hit with particularly stinging shots she opted to quit. This was enough to anger fans, but they were truly enraged when the loser immediately started dancing in the ring.

“This is a joke, man,” one fan complained in a video posted to Instagram. “Can I get my money back?” Another could be heard saying “that’s crazy,” before it cuts to Williams celebrating which begs the question “didn’t she quit?”

“Y’all just hustled me out of my money, goddamn it.” Another viewer complained. One viewer on X even branded the event a ‘scam’, claiming that Williams looked as though she had never set foot in a ring even for sparring.

“The scam artists Chrisean and Calvin they done scammed all her fans out their money,” they wrote. “They know that girl couldn’t fight, she wasn’t trained to fight and she never been in a ring.”
