West Ham have parted ways with manager Nuno Espirito Santo following back-to-back defeats at home to Southampton and West Brom, and reports suggest that Scott Parker is set to be appointed as his replacement.
The Hammers have been disappointed with their start in the Championship after last season's relegation but they are still only six points behind highflying Middlesbrough and should figure prominently in the promotion picture.
Both teams have scored in nine of West Ham's 13 league games and the high-scoring trend could continue against Cardiff, who remain unbeaten at home after six Championship outings while the net has bulged at both ends in five of those fixtures.
The lofty expectations set by Wrexham's powerful owners mean that pressure is building on manager Phil Parkinson and the tide is unlikely to turn at home to Middlesbrough, who are unbeaten in 11 league games.
Boro have racked up 30 goals in 13 games, building on a 5-1 win at Bolton with Saturday's 3-0 success at home to Charlton, and should have little to fear from a Wrexham side who have lost their last two to nil against Blackburn and Sheffield United.
League One playoff hopefuls Oxford and Reading are separated by only one point in the table but the U's are extremely tough to beat and should be confident of picking up another positive result at the Kassam Stadium.
Oxford are going under the radar in League One and have gone nine games unbeaten since losing 3-1 at leaders Huddersfield at the start of September. They are yet to lose on their own patch.
Oxford have kept back-to-back home clean sheets against Stockport and Bradford and, while Reading are in decent form , they have won only one of their last six away games and top scorer Jack Marriott has just returned from injury.
A run of three wins in four suggests that Wolves may be starting to hit top gear in the Championship and they can stay on an upward trajectory with victory at Bristol City, who needed an injury-time winner to snatch all three points at Bolton on Saturday.
The Robins have suffered defeat in three of their last four league fixtures at Ashton Gate, going down 1-0 to Lincoln, Blackburn and Sheffield United, and Wolves are beginning to show their Premier League quality.

What is a football accumulator (acca)?A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.
Can I place an acca on different markets?Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.
What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
