Football Bet of the Day: James Milton has a 13-8 selection from Serie A

Don't miss our Football Bet of the Day, where one member of Racing Post Sport's top tipping team offers their best bet from the daily action.

Football tipster James Milton has studied Monday's coupon and his best bet comes from the Serie A fixture between Atalanta and Venezia.

Atalanta vs VeneziaSerie A, 5.30pm

Venezia have started the Serie A season with five straight defeats and another loss is looming when they travel to Atalanta on Monday.

Three of Venezia's reverses were by a 2-0 scoreline and backing Atalanta to win a game featuring under 3.5 goals is the way to go.

The hosts beat Sassuolo 2-1 and Bologna 1-0 in their first two league matches before 2-1 defeats to Roma and Cagliari and a 2-0 loss at Juventus.

Atalanta are not playing with great fluency, firing only eight shots on target in their last four Serie A outings.

They edged past Hapoel Tel Aviv 1-0 on aggregate in August's Conference League qualifying tie and can grind out a low-scoring home win over bottom club Venezia.
