Guess the Premier League player: Ultra-hard quiz only experts will be able to nail

Manchester City's guilty verdict regarding breaches of the Premier League's financial rules has dominated the news for the past week, so we've decided to give readers a break from the hustle and bustle with a light-hearted quiz.

That's given football fans could be in for ANOTHER lengthy wait (sigh) to see what punishment the English top flight slap them with, considering an appeals process is now likely to take place.

In the meantime, Mirror Football have put together a bumper brain-teaser quiz below, not only to pass the time this Friday evening, but also to test your knowledge of the Premier League.

The objective is simple - we've taken screenshots of the career paths of a number of players, past and present, including the years they represented each team and how many appearances they made.

What we need you to do is have a punt at which Premier League player is shown in said photos, by simply typing their surname only into the answers box.

In the interest of fairness, we'll need you to refrain from using Google or Wikipedia, because nobody likes a cheat - as Man City have found out.
