'He's right' – Nottingham Forest fans react as Murillo backs Oliver Glasner

Nottingham Forest were beaten 1-0 by Arsenal, but it’s fair to say that the performance level was much better than it had been the week previous against Crystal Palace.
Oliver Glasner will find himself under fan pressure. Forest supporters are the most measured bunch, and the Austrian desperately needs to get some wins for his own sake.
Murillo backed Oliver Glasner after the game, and his comments have caused an intriguing debate on TalkingPoints from the Forest fan base.
Murillo said: “We have a good manager, and I think we are still getting his ideas. It’s difficult, but after three or four months we will keep improving.”
Now, fans have reacted to his comments, and it would appear they believe the central defender has hit the nail firmly on the head on the start made under Glasner.
Fans have been discussing Murillo’s comments since he made them on Sunday, and it would appear many are in agreement with the player.
Fans have taken to the TalkingPoints app to discuss the comments and some interesting takes have been made on the future under Glasner.
caleb.sage 3 days ago Forest were good against Arsenal, lacked a bit of quality in the final third. It’s a game they probably score in if MGW plays. I think Glasner will get it right. 1 Reply Report
A few more fans believe Glasner just needs time, praising his ability as a head coach at this level.

jonathan.gorrie 3 days ago No need to panic just yet, is there? But I’d be interested to know what Forest fans have seen to hang their hat on thus far! Can’t just be bad luck can it? 0 Reply Report
Another made a point of discussing the players who have already thrived under Glasner and believes the players have just been unlucky so far.
twlmurphy 3 days ago Of course Murillo is right. The performance levels look good, Murillo himself is getting his mojo back, McAtee is playing well in his new position, Delap bullied the Arsenal centre-halves, we showed we could play well without MGW. We just need a ball to bounce in off someone’s knee and the floodgates are going to open. 0 Reply Report
Ultimately, the fact that Murillo has come out in defence of his head coach is a positive. Under Sean Dyche the player revolted and got him out, with the chances of that happening to Glasner looking slim.
Forest do need results pretty quickly, however, the hope will be that things can change for the better soon, starting with tomorrow’s game against Ipswich.
