Dominick Reyes looked like his old self earlier today (Sat., Oct. 24, 2026) at UFC 333 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as the former UFC light heavyweight title challenger made quick work of veteran finisher Azamat Murzakanov via first round TKO (head kick and punches).

This “Prelims” headliner was a tough one to predict. Murzakanov came in riding his first career loss, but he was expected to be the quicker and more techincal striker. Reyes, who came into Saturday off a boring decision win over Johnny Walker, had the size and power advantage. “Devastator” just needed a chance to land his punches and touch the chin of Murzakanov to make the fight tip his way.

The two light heavyweights went back-and-forth for a little bit to open the first round, but it was Reyes who did more damage with leg kicks. Reyes eventually decided to change levels with his attacks and threw a head kick that caught Murzakanov flush. Reyes slipped for a moment before returning to his feet and chasing Murzakanov down for a brutal straight left hand. Murzakanov toppled to the canvas and Reyes followed up with ground-and-pound and the TKO stoppage.
