‘How is that possible?’ Dana White reacts to popular UFC star claiming he is homeless

Dana White was baffled to learn that UFC star King Green is claiming to be living in his car – despite owning multiple homes.
UFC CEO White famously claims to have ‘no MMA on his feed’, so likely wouldn’t have seen Green’s claim that he is currently homeless. The long-time lightweight contender has fought three times in 2026 already, including two numbered main cards and a bonus-winning stoppage of Terrance McKinney.
The UFC continues to land in new locations, but there are still some popular destinations left.
It stands to reason that Green has earned in the high six figures this year from fighting alone – and he is now forging a successful career as a Kick streamer. So it came as a shock when he claimed to be stuck living in his car in a recent video.
During a recent Kick stream, King Green told viewers that he is currently living in his car after a mix-up with his properties. He claims to own nine homes, but says they are all occupied by friends of his and that as a result he is homeless.
“I’ve been living in my car,” Green explained. “I’ve got like nine houses but I’m f—ing homeless right now, all my homies live at all of my homes and s— so I’m f—ing living out of my car as we speak, which is crazy.
“As soon as I get sober, here come the motherf—ing problems… This is part of life and I want to show people that real life. I deal with s— like this all the time, last camp I got robbed for $300,000 worth of jewellery so it never stops with the bulls—.”
Dana White was made aware of this outburst during an interview with Complex’s Matthew Welty, and seemed baffled that a fighter making that amount of money could be struggling so badly.
“How is that possible?” He asked Welty, who noted that Green claims to have nine homes that have become overcrowded with friends and family moving in. “I have not heard that, I hope it’s not true. He just fought and he fought back-to-back recently and he makes damn good money!”
