Hull KR youngster among eight charged by Match Review Panel as double ban handed out

Warrington’s Charlie McKler and Huddersfield’s Fenton Rogers have both been handed suspensions following their card offences in the final round of the regular Super League season.

McKler has received a three-match ban for a Grade E head contact charge arising from a tackle on Toulouse Olympique’s Romeo Tropis at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The incident sparked a melee late in the second half, with the young prop sent to the sin bin.

Huddersfield forward Rogers, meanwhile, has received a two-match ban for Grade E striking after raising an elbow on Castleford counterpart Tyler Dupree at the Accu Stadium.

Leeds Rhinos hooker Jarrod O’Connor, Hull KR's Frankie Dearlove and Warrington's Tommy Rhodes were also among those charged, with all previous penalty points for players featuring in the play-offs frozen for the knockout stages.
