'I just hate': Jason Tatum reacts after what people are saying about Jaylen Brown's 'cap' comment

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have constantly made the headlines since the latter’s Boston Celtics departure.
The duo formed a phenomenal partnership, reached two NBA Finals and won one of them. They were a force to be reckoned with.
However, Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers during the off-season, and many people felt that Tatum was the reason why that happened, even though he said in a recent interview that he had no idea that the trade was happening.
Brown responded with a ‘cap’ emoji, sparking even more debate on social media.
The Celtics got Paul George and two first-round picks in return from the 76ers.
Tatum was clear in his interview that he was only made aware of Brown’s trade to the 76ers after it was done.
The latter clearly seems to think that his old teammate is lying, and that has led to many people speculating that there is bad blood between the two players. The ‘cap’ emoji fueled those rumours even more.
However, Tatum is adamant that there is no such thing and claimed that he really dislikes how people are building a narrative about their relationship and making comments about what will happen when the Celtics face the Sixers this season.
He said, as per Click On Detroit: “I’ve seen all these things like, ‘Get your popcorn ready when they play.’ This ain’t no f****** boxing match. Play basketball.

“There’s no animosity. There’s no beef.
“I just hate the way the conversation and narrative around it inflamed it. There’s not enough communication. I think conversation would solve and put out a lot of fires.”
Tatum repeatedly claimed in his press conference that he is open to talking it out with Brown and clearing the air over whatever differences they seem to have.
“He’s just turned 30. I’m 28. I’ve got two kids. As adults, it’s a conversation. I’m not saying it’s a bad one or anything like that. Just communication usually gets to right (or) wrong, you’ll understand the other side,” he concluded.
The Celtics face the 76ers in the second week of November at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. We’re sure all eyes will be on Brown and Tatum in that game.
