Pratika Rawal added 20 from 24 balls before Harmanpreet took control of the closing stages. The India captain remained unbeaten on 24 from 28 deliveries, while Richa Ghosh injected late pace with a 16-ball 21. Deepti Sharma then produced a rapid 13 off six balls to push India to 149/6.

Bangladesh’s bowlers had moments of control but struggled to contain India’s acceleration. Sultana Khatun claimed two wickets, while Marufa Akter, Nahida Akter and Rabeya Khan took one each. India finished the innings at 7.45 runs per over, leaving Bangladesh with a demanding chase.

Bangladesh’s reply never developed into a sustained chase. Dilara Akter made 21, while Shorna Akter remained unbeaten on 21 from 16 balls. Nigar Sultana contributed 19, but India repeatedly struck whenever Bangladesh threatened to rebuild.

Deepti Sharma was the standout performer with the ball, finishing with 3/26 from four overs. Shree Charani and Prema Rawat also picked up wickets as India controlled the run rate. Bangladesh ended on 109/7, 40 runs short of India’s total.

The victory sends India into the tournament final and keeps their unbeaten Asia Cup campaign intact. Shafali’s explosive batting and Deepti’s three-wicket spell proved decisive as India produced a composed knockout performance when it mattered most.
