Indiana Fever make compelling MVP case for Caitlin Clark with latest social post

The Indiana Fever are pushing for Caitlin Clark to win the WNBA award this season. Clark is by far the league’s most popular player, but not necessarily the best.
Clark delivered 28 points and 14 assists as the Fever beat the Toronto Tempo 103-85 on Friday. Those numbers lifted her season averages to an outstanding 22.6 points and 8.5 assists per game.
The Fever’s social media team have now suggested Clark deserves her first MVP award, and several stats certainly strengthen her case.
Caitlin Clark’s MVP case starts with the Indiana Fever’s record: 27-14 with three games remaining in the regular season. Currently fifth in the standings, the Fever could finish as high as third with a strong final week.
Clark is also having an exceptional statistical campaign. She ranks third in the WNBA for points per game (22.6) and first in assists (8.5). The point guard is the only player in the top three in both categories.

Clark’s shooting has been better than ever in 2026, with 108 three-pointers – the fourth-most in the league. The final statistic the Fever put forward was that the 24-year-old has more 25+ point and 10+ assist games this season (10) than any player in WNBA history has.
Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson is Clark’s biggest competition for the MVP award. The 26-point-per-game scorer is expected to win her fifth MVP in seven seasons. Meanwhile, rookie point guard Olivia Miles is also more likely to receive the award, according to the bookies.
