Ireland to return to Galway for 2027 Women's Six Nations

Ireland will return to the home of Connacht Rugby next season for one of their Women's Six Nations games after the Irish Rugby Football Union confirmed times, dates, and venues for next year's tournament.
Scott Bemand’s side beat Italy at the Dexcom Stadium in the 2026 Championship back in April; and the College Road venue also hosted Ireland's clash with Japan in the WXV Series last weekend, and given he success of both events, the IRFU has decided to return to the City of the Tribes next season.
Ireland will open their 2027 Six Nations Championship against Scotland away at Murrayfield on Saturday April 10, before taking on France at the Dexcom Stadium - previously known as the Sportsground - the following Saturday, April 17 (2.30pm).
"We’re looking forward to bringing international rugby back to Dexcom Stadium and Galway, where we enjoyed brilliant support in last season’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations," Ireland captain, Erin King, said as part of the announcement.
“These are the occasions you want to be involved in as a player and with two big home matches against France and England coming up in 2027, there is huge motivation for us as a group to produce the occasions and performances that will inspire and excite our Green Wave.”
