Gourav Makan then continued his good form, scoring a vital half-century with 52 runs from 43 balls. Aryan Yadav provided a late boost, remaining unbeaten on 35 from 26 deliveries, helping the Warriors reach their total.

For Ludhiana Lions, Krish Bhagat was their most effective bowler, claiming four wickets for 37 runs in four overs, while Kartik Chadha took one wicket for 21 runs.

Chasing 170, Ludhiana began steadily with openers Abhijeet Garg and Bikramjeet Singh putting on 49 runs. However, quick wickets saw them slip to 79 for 3. Arjun Rajput and Salil Arora offered a 54-run partnership, with Rajput scoring 45 from 33 balls and Arora 26 from 24.

Entering the final overs, Ludhiana needed 19 runs from two overs. Krish Bhagat hit a six off the last ball of the 19th over, reducing the requirement to 10 runs from six balls. However, Randeep Singh’s final over proved decisive. He dismissed Aseem Kohli for 11 and Havneet for a duck in his first three deliveries, putting Ludhiana under pressure.

With two balls remaining, Bhagat attempted to finish the chase with a six but managed only a single. Needing eight runs from the last ball, Ludhiana failed to score, finishing on 162 for 8 in 20 overs.

Jalandhar Warriors’ resilience and timely partnerships ensured their victory despite Ludhiana Lions’ late fightback.
