Jordan Pickford reaches historic century at Spurs

Jordan Pickford reached 100 Premier League clean sheets in Everton’s 0-0 draw at Tottenham on Saturday, becoming the 19th goalkeeper to hit the landmark.

The point moved the Toffees up to ninth in the table. Goal.com described the England international as joining an exclusive pantheon of Premier League greats.

Pickford began his career at Sunderland before a high-profile switch to Goodison Park. His form has been outstanding, and he won the August 2026 Save of the Month for a record-extending fifth time after a reflex stop to deny Eddie Nketiah.

Petr Cech remains the benchmark with 202 Premier League clean sheets. He also holds the highest clean sheet rate and the most consecutive shut-outs, and is 33 clear of David James.

Liverpool’s Alisson Becker was the last goalkeeper before Pickford to join the 100 club, reaching the mark in a goalless draw with Leeds United in January 2026. Manchester City’s Ederson stands on 122 clean sheets.

Pickford’s path to triple figures has featured high-pressure displays behind a frequently changed back line at Goodison Park, underlining the scale of his achievement.
