Last Five: A look at Wolves' sorry record on enemy Turf ahead of Burnley visit

Wolves will be looking to end a miserable run of results at Turf Moor when they travel to Burnley for a Championship clash in front of the Sky Sports cameras tomorrow night.
Cesar Peixoto’s side make the trip to Lancashire for an 8pm kick-off on Friday, October 16, having drawn four and lost four of their last eight visits to the ground, stretching all the way back to 2010.
They have not tasted victory at Turf Moor since March 2010, when they secured a 2-1 Premier League win courtesy of Matt Jarvis’ first-half strike, and a Clarke Carlisle own goal.
Here we look back at Wolves’ five most recent trips to Turf Moor:
Their most recent visit came on the final day of last season, when the two sides played out a 1-1 draw in May.
Adam Armstrong gave Wolves an early lead from the penalty spot, but Zian Flemming equalised shortly after half-time to ensure the points were shared.
That result brought the curtain down on a dismal Premier League campaign for both clubs, with Wolves finishing bottom of the table and Burnley one place above them.
The previous meeting at Turf Moor, in April 2024, also ended 1-1, with Rayan Ait-Nouri heading home a Pablo Sarabia free-kick to cancel out Jacob Bruun Larsen's opener.
Burnley claimed all three points in April 2022, when Matej Vydra scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Bruno Lage's side.
The Clarets had also emerged victorious in December 2020, with Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood putting the hosts two goals ahead before Fabio Silva netted a late consolation from the penalty spot.
Perhaps the most frustrating of Wolves' recent visits came in July 2020, when Raul Jimenez's superb volley looked to have secured all three points.
However, Wood converted a controversial stoppage-time penalty following a handball decision against Matt Doherty to snatch a 1-1 draw.
Friday's encounter will be the first Championship meeting between the sides at Turf Moor since 2016, when Burnley secured a 1-1 draw on their way to winning the second-tier title.
And with the two clubs now battling in the Championship following relegation from the Premier League, Wolves will be hoping to finally put their Turf Moor struggles behind them.
Burnley v Wolves kicks off at 8pm on Friday, October 16, live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event.
