Lennox Lewis didn’t hesitate with teasing Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury prediction for super-fight

Boxing legend Lennox Lewis was asked how he thinks the huge mega-fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will play out in December.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua’s all-British showdown is set to be broadcast around the world by Netflix and the bout will be held at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The long-awaited super-fight was confirmed last month and both Fury and Joshua appeared at an announcement press conference at the British Airways ARC in London.
Lennox Lewis appeared at the press conference alongside fellow boxing legend Carl Froch as well and provided an immediate reaction to the build-up for the upcoming bout.
Will Joshua's huge KO power prevail, or will 'The Gypsy King's' elite footwork and movement give him the edge?
Tyson Fury last fought in the summer and overcame Polish boxer Mariusz Wach after his opponent retired after the seventh round of the bout in Thailand.
Anthony Joshua returned to the squared circle in the same month as Fury and he climbed off the canvas twice to complete a KO comeback against Kristian Prenga.
Lennox Lewis refused to outright back fellow Brits Fury and Joshua in a prediction, but he hinted at how he thinks the forthcoming fight could be determined.
The 61-year-old former undisputed champion says that both fighters have knockout power and the more “accurate” of the two will come out on top on the night.
“When you got two big heavyweights in there, it only takes one punch,” he said, as per Ring Magazine’s YouTube channel.
“And both of them have knockout ability. And [whosever more] accurate is gonna be the winner.”
Unlike boxing icon Lewis, Carl Froch was more direct with his prediction and the 49-year-old thinks that Fury will beat Joshua after 12 rounds at the Principality Stadium.
“Listen, I think Anthony Joshua is going to really struggle against somebody who can box and move and throw the jab and get off to the side, no straight lines, and put combination punches together,” he said.
“And that was the ‘old’ Tyson Fury. That’s what he used to do. Combination punches, lots of faints, lots of light footwork.
“He slowed down. They both slowed down. The last thing to go in a professional fight is the power. So, this fight’s close, but I’m picking Tyson Fury on a points win.”
The WBA ‘super’ heavyweight championship will reportedly be on the line for Joshua and Fury’s eagerly awaited boxing bout in December.
