It's full-time at CommBank Stadium. Penrith have defeated Newtown 36-6 in the NSW Cup Grand Final.

The presentation is about to get underway, and the celebrations will last into the night.

The Penrith Panthers are the 2026 NSW Cup champions, beating the Newtown Jets 36-6 in the Grand Final.

Thanks for jumping in and we'll see you for our live Dally M Blog on Wednesday from 7pm.

The stage is currently being set up for the presentation. The players have headed over to friends and family to celebrate.

Buster Hindmarsh says he's grateful for the opportunity to rise through the ranks at Penrith. "It takes some time to get used to," he admitted.

Kelani Leuluai-Going confirms the team is headed back to the club to celebrate tonight and will then be at Accor Stadium tomorrow to cheer on the NRL side against Newcastle in the Prelim Final.

Kelani Leuluai-Going: "Credit to the boys. We know the Jets were going to come and bring it. I'm real proud of my boys."

Big celebrations on the field at CommBank Stadium and Matt Eisenhuth's Penrith Panthers are champions!

Penrith have dropped the ball close to the line. That was a pretty good defensive performance from the Jets over the past few minutes.

Time-off here, Jaxen Edgar is down and requires help from the trainers. Looks like it's just a bad cramp.

Another try goes begging for Penrith but the Jets, to their credit, are keeping their defensive spirits high. They deny the Panthers again, and it's another drop-out.

The Panthers go close to scoring again but Ryley Pollard grounds the ball in-goal. Pressure will continue.

Five minutes left now. The Panthers lead 36-6.

It's a penalty to Penrith for that late hit on Falls. He's struggling but back on his feet.

Kurt Falls is down, trainers currently with him.

Penrith have grabbed the momentum back, on the attack close to the Newtown line.

Jaxon Lavender crosses for Newtown, and the conversion is good. The Panthers lead 36-6 with 10 to play.

We'll answer Cameron's question. They don't have the rights. But we agree, surely we see the lower grades on the 24 hour league channel.

Zakauri Clarke misses one of his easiest kicks of the night. Score remains 36-0 with about 12 minutes left at CommBank Stadium.

Luron Patea says get out of my way! He crashes over to score Penrith's seventh try of the night. Penrith 36-0.

Penrith on the attack again after getting a penalty. A little kick goes through but the Jets send it dead. Drop-out coming and more pressure building.

Zakauri Clarke kicks his 100th goal for the NSW Cup season, and the Panthers go out to a 32-0 lead with 16 minutes remaining.

Zakauri Clarke has crossed, grounding the ball just inside the dead ball line. Penrith lead 30-0.

Penalty Penrith. Kurt Falls has been hit late and we've got time-off while he is attended to by medical staff.

Penrith making easy metres now.

Clarke gets the conversion. The Panthers now lead 26-0. That's surely it. The Panthers are on their way to the title.

Try confirmed! The Panthers lead the Jets 24-0 22 minutes away from full-time.

Nick Murphy scores for Penrith. The referee points to the spot but I'm not 100% convinced. We'll see what the replay shows.

The Jets make a crucial mistake in their own half, giving Penrith a big shot for more points.

Penrith 20-0 11 minutes into the second half.

Buster Hindmarsh makes a mistake close to the line and lets the Jets off the hook.

Nine minutes gone of the second half, and it's still Penrith 20-0. Panthers on the attack right now.

Nothing too spectacular in the opening minutes of the second half. Both sides feeling each other out again.

The second half is underway at CommBank!

Penrith take a 20-0 lead into half-time at CommBank Stadium, well on their way to claiming the NSW Cup Premiership.

Zakauri Clarke misses the conversion.

Jesse McLean crosses for his second try of the night, crawling his way through three Jets defenders to score. Penrith lead Newtown 20-0.

Penrith go desperately close to scoring again. It looked like Nick Murphy would score in the corner but somehow the Jets stopped it. We are six minutes away from half-time and the Panthers lead the Jets 16-0.

A few errors creeping into the game now from both sides. Jets currently on the attack.

Jaxen Edgar is still shaking off a huge hit from Liam Ison. It wasn't illegal but he was definitely rattled by it.

We've hit the half hour mark and it's Panthers 16 Jets 0.
