'Love what the Knights are about': Cody Hunter signs permanent York deal

The Australian half-back initially moved to England with Newcastle Thunder but spent the majority of the season at partner club York.
Hunter scored five tries and provided 21 assists in 20 Super League appearances.
The 24-year-old has capped a breakthrough campaign by signing a contract with the Knights until the end of 2028.
"I'm proud to continue my career with this club for a further two years," said Hunter. "I love what the Knights are about and am already excited for a competitive 2027."
York head coach Mark Applegarth has backed Hunter to reach new heights after proving himself at the top level.
"I'm delighted with Cody," said Applegarth. "He's really taken his chance and stepped up to Super League.
"He's still a young player relatively with his best years in front of him. We're really looking forward to seeing Cody kick on."
Meanwhile, Huddersfield Giants have agreed a one-year contract extension with Tanguy Zenon.
