Manchester United vs. Borussia Dortmund: probable line-ups, match ...

Borussia Dortmund will be reunited with Jadon Sancho when they meet Manchester United at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Monday (kick-off: 3am CEST/6pm Sunday local time).
Sancho emerged as a fan favourite at Dortmund after arriving from Manchester City in 2017, hitting 50 goals and 64 assists in all competitions on the way to lifting the DFL Supercup in 2019 and DFB Pokal in 2021 before leaving for Old Trafford. Die Schwarzgelben have remained an impressive attacking force since - last season only champions Bayern Munich scored more than them (92 vs. 83) - and they have been among the goals in pre-season, too, most recently beating San Diego Loyal 6-0. Youssoufa Moukoko and Julien Duranville were both among the goals on Friday, but could be rested with Sebastien Haller and Donyell Malen starting in Edin Terzic's preferred front three. Marcel Sabitzer, who recently joined Dortmund from Bayern via a loan spell with United, could be handed his unofficial debut. Emre Can will lead the team out having inherited the captain's armband from Marco Reus.
While Dortmund finished second in the Bundesliga last season, United were third in the Premier League under Erik ten Hag. Sabitzer helped them to that finish with 11 appearances, seven of them starts, but his place in their midfield has now nominally gone to Mason Mount, who has joined from Chelsea. After beating Lyon and Arsenal in pre-season, the Red Devils have suffered consecutive defeats to Ryan Reynolds-owned Wrexham and Real Madrid. Sancho only got the final half-hour against Real but could be restored to the starting line-up here.
