Nepal’s Yuki “The Gurkha” Angdembe defeated China’s Buhuogubu “The Yi Eagle” by unanimous decision at Jue Cheng King (JCK) Fight Night-123 in Luliang, China, on Saturday.

Angdembe grappled his way through the bout, deploying wrestling moves to keep his Chinese opponent on the ground. Buhougubu knew his Nepali adversary was eyeing a knockout or a submission win and defied him by staying alive in the fight.

Yuki Angdembe earns his first JCK win by unanimous decision.

A final round that started with a hug between the two fighters ended with judges unanimously scoring 27-30 each in favour of the Nepali MMA star.

Angdembe celebrated the win draped in a Nepali flag and wearing a rudraksha mala alongside his Soma Fight Club colleague Zack Bennett, who was wearing a waistcoat made of Nepali dhaka fabric.

It was Angdembe’s ninth professional win in 12 fights.
