Naz Reid is already gaining popularity among his new Hornets teammates

During his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Naz Reid cemented himself as one of the most popular players on the team. He was quite a productive player during his time there, but he has now moved on to a different team.

Reid is now with the Charlotte Hornets, and while he has not played a game just yet, his reputation is already getting stronger. Among his teammates, Reid is quite popular already, which is unsurprising for anyone who knew him with the Timberwolves.

As a player, Reid has a unique play style because he is a big man by trade, but he is quite effective at the perimeter. With his unique jump shot where he does not jump that high, he manages to score a load of points.

Reid was a huge part of the Timberwolves' success over the past few years. His impact on offense was crucial, but now that they have parted ways, Reid could elevate his game even more in Charlotte.

As one of his new teammates in Charlotte, Sion James is already seeing why Reid is such a popular figure. They have been working together in the offseason like most of the Hornets' players, so getting a close look at Reid cemented why he has such a good reputation.

"Naz is a quiet guy for the most part, but at the end of the day, he loves us, he cares about basketball, and he cares for his teammates. He has gotten to talking more and more with us. I see why they love him so much up in Minnesota, and I'm sure our fans here will too," James said about Reid to Danielle Stein of WCNC.

Reid has already won a lot of people over, and that could increase tenfold when he performs well on the court. The expectations are not that high for the Hornets, but if Reid performs well, he could elevate those expectations for the team.
