NBA 2K27's Showtime Pack Headlined By Kemp, Francis, Wilkins

By Franz Christian Irorita,

A new Showtime pack arrives tomorrow in NBA 2K27 MyTEAM, confirmed via the official NBA 2K MyTEAM account. Three headliners are confirmed so far: 94 OVR Dominique Wilkins, 93 OVR Shawn Kemp, and 92 OVR Steve Francis.

Dominique Wilkins tops the pack at 94 OVR, the Hall of Famer known as the Human Highlight Film for a career built on acrobatic dunks and a scoring title with the Atlanta Hawks.

Shawn Kemp joins at 93 OVR, the high-flying power forward nicknamed the Reign Man during his run with the Seattle SuperSonics.

Steve Francis rounds out the confirmed cards at 92 OVR, the 1999-2000 Rookie of the Year known simply as “The Franchise” during his time with the Houston Rockets.

Notably absent from the pack are any players from Showtime Lakers, the Magic Johnson-led dynasty the pack’s name most directly evokes. Whether that’s intentional or simply a matter of which era’s highlight-reel dunkers 2K chose to spotlight first remains unclear, since 2K hasn’t detailed the full checklist yet.

Hopefully, this pack comes with Card Exchanges for Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and James Worthy, similar to the Big Three of Steve Nash, Shawn Marion, and Amar’e Stoudamire currently available in The Exchange.

Beyond the three confirmed headliners, 2K hasn’t revealed any additional cards in the Showtime lineup, nor specific odds or pricing for the pack itself.

Based on the pattern set by prior themed drops like Denied Pack and Glow Up, expect a fuller card list and market details to surface once the pack actually goes live. Showtime cards arrive tomorrow in the MyTEAM Pack Market.
