North Charleston video game tournament supports MUSC Shawn Jenkins on Saturday

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Reforged Gaming Lounge is hosting a tournament benefiting Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network hospitals on Saturday.
A $10 entry fee lets individuals compete in Nintendo Switch Sports while supporting the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. This beginner-friendly tournament will feature multiple events, such as Bowling, Tennis, Volleyball, and more.
Patrons can choose to spend $20, which includes the entry fee and an all-day pass for the lounge, where guests can use the gaming stations before and after the event.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the tournament.
Proceeds from the tournament will support children’s hospitals through Extra Life, a fundraising program of the Children’s Miracle Network non-profit that allows event organizers to raise money for children’s hospitals of their choice while having fun playing their favorite games.
The event will take place on September 12 at 5 p.m. at the Reforged Gaming Lounge, located at 8484 Dorchester Road, Unit 204 in North Charleston.
All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
