Oliver Glasner reveals Morgan Gibbs-White message after Nottingham Forest ace's late England call-up

Morgan Gibbs-White getting game time for England is just reward for his Nottingham Forest form, according to head coach Oliver Glasner.
The Reds ace was originally left out of Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions squad for this four-game camp but received a late call-up following the withdrawal of Cole Palmer. Such is Gibbs-White’s commitment to the cause, he cut short a family holiday in Dubai to link up with the national team.
He has played a total of 16 minutes across England’s first two Nations League matches, against Spain and Czech Republic, and will hope for more in the remaining two fixtures. Gibbs-White was already in good form for Forest before getting the opportunity to represent his country, and Glasner believes pulling on the national jersey will only boost his confidence further.

“I texted him, because I knew that he would go abroad with his family,” the Reds boss told the Nottingham Post. “So I texted him. He loves to play for England.
“I'm really pleased for him that he got a few minutes in both games, because he deserves it. Really positive for him.”
Gibbs-White is not the only Forest player who should return to the Nigel Doughty Academy in good spirits for the Premier League’s resumption in little more than a week’s time. The club have a number of international representatives, and many have been putting in solid displays.
Dan Ndoye, for example, was a standout performer for Switzerland in midweek. The winger has been inconsistent for the Reds so far this term but chipped in with a couple of assists on Tuesday as Scotland were thumped 3-0.
“Every player can gain a lot, because you get confidence when you have good performances,” Glasner said. “Dan had a great performance against Scotland.
“Xaver Schlager captained Austria for the first time in his career. Ousmane (Diomande) and Ibrahim (Sangare), when they played, Cote d’Ivoire won the game 2-0 (against Ghana).
“I think many of the players are getting minutes, having good performances and getting good results. This is where you get confidence from.”
