‘One of one’ – What fans are saying as Paige Bueckers nominated for MVP by the Wings

Paige Bueckers is one of a number of players who could end 2026 as the WNBA MVP.
Paige is facing some stiff competition for the award, of course, including from multi-time winner A’ja Wilson as well as the likes of Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.
But the Dallas Wings have now showcased some of Bueckers’ stats amid putting her name into the hat to be crowned this year’s WNBA MVP.
When sharing the stats on X/Twitter, they wrote: “The truth. Paige Bueckers for MVP and All-WNBA.”
Within the stats, the Wings highlighted that she is currently averaging 20.5 points per game and is the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 1,000 points and 250 assists, doing so in 52 games.
A number of fans have since reacted to the suggestion that Paige should be the 2026 MVP.
One fan wrote: “MVP!!!” followed by four fire emojis.
Another suggested that the Wings ace probably won’t win the award this year, writing: “Not this year, but could definitely be in the future! Hard to compete with A’ja being elite on both sides of the ball every night and CC going off for double doubles like it’s nothing. Good era for the W!”
A third commented: “The truth is better than advertised. Not 1 of 2. She is 1 of 1.”
“‘The truth’ goes hard,” tweeted another in response, while a fifth stated: “One of one,” followed by a goat emoji.
