Oscar Allen and wife Lorna arrive home in WA to celebrate baby moon at Rottnest Island

Oscar Allen and his wife, Lorna, are taking a break from their life in Brisbane to spend time in their hometown of Perth before their first child arrives.

The former West Coast Eagles star, who signed with the Brisbane Lions in October 2025, and Lorna celebrated their baby moon on Rottnest Island on Wednesday, where the couple enjoyed stunning summer weather.

The couple are due to welcome their first daughter in December.

Lorna took to social media to share several photos of their visit to the island paradise, which included a selfie of the expecting parents and the mum-to-be relaxing on a beach with her baby bump on show.

She was also sure to capture Rotto in all its glory, sharing beautiful nature shots of Pinky Beach and the historic Bathurst Lighthouse, along with photos of crystal-clear water.

The couple announced their pregnancy on Instagram on June 14, which was met with hundreds of congratulatory comments from friends, family and fans.

“Having a baby with my bestie,” Lorna captioned the post.

The Allens hosted their baby shower earlier this month, where Lorna’s nieces decorated her baby bump with stick-on jewels and pearls.

“Always say yes to bedazzling the bump,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

“Showering our little girl with lots of love and feeling very lucky for all of the people in our lives.”

It comes after the pair married on November 29 last year.

It’s been a huge year for the growing family after the Lions won the AFL Grand Final, defeating Fremantle (96 - 89) at the MCG to claim their third consecutive premiership.

Well into the season Allen suffered a navicular bone fracture in his foot which required surgery to insert a screw, keeping him out of action for around three months.

He returned in the latter part of the season and played out the remainder of the year while managing his healing foot fracture.
